Fall Crafts for All Ages

School might be back in session but what about those little ones left at home, or when school is dismissed for the day. Do you have a busy little one? We have collected some really fun craft ideas that are sure to keep your little one busy, not just during the time they are making the crafts but also to continue to play with afterwards. You’ll also find that some of these crafts need leaves, which will require your little ones to go outside for some searching! 

Fairy House Craft 
Your little one will love this  magical craft! All you need is some colored paper, scissors, and glue and you are on your way to making a fairy home. Add a flameless candle to your finished craft for some extra fun. Soon you’ll have a fairy landscape in your home!
Leaf Print with Markers 
Does your little one love collecting items when you go out for walks? If so this craft is perfect! Encourage your child to gather leaves while outside. Once you are home you can do this fun leaf printing project together! This craft ends up creating a lot of beautiful art!
Cardboard Cookies
Playing restaurant or baker seem to be popular pretend games little ones enjoy playing. Take this a step further by allowing your little ones to make their own cookies for their restaurant! This can be really simple, yet so fun! This is also a great way to reuse those cardboard boxes you likely have lying around. 
Paper Cup Scarecrow
Using an ordinary paper cup, you and your little ones can make a festive scarecrow! This craft leaves room for your little one to be creative, while also a fun end product. Many of the supplies for this craft are common items you may already have around the house. Add in the fact that your child will be practicing motor skills by using scissors and this is a winning activity! 
DIY Kaleidoscope
Another fun craft using supplies you can find around the house! This is a fun DIY that doesn’t need to be complicated, but can be a lot of fun! Kaleidoscopes are so fun and interesting, you little one will spend a lot of time with the finished product!
Leaf Puppets
This time of year is great for getting outside without being too hot or too cold. While on an adventure outside, collect some leaves and bring them home to make fun puppets with! Get creative with this craft by encouraging your little one to use their imagination! Does their puppet have 5 eyes? Great! Are the puppet’s arms made from feathers? Even better! This is a great activity for pretend play. 
Pine Cone Owl 
Fall gives us a plethora of pine cones, and there are no shortage of fun ideas for crafts to do with pine cones. The mixture of easy to find natural resources and common items within your home, make this a quick and easy craft to throw together! This owl craft is so adorable, and can be done in combination with a nature walk or hike! 
These fall crafts can be completed year long, but we felt this is the perfect time of year to combine outdoor nature walks with some fun crafts! Many of these crafts also leave a lot of room for your child to use their imaginations and get creative! What craft will you do first?
